The French naturalist Georges-Louis Leclerc de Buffon had tense relations with creditors, including the Baboon family. In his "Natural History," he spotted the resemblance of the family name to the old French word "babine" ("mask with horns and beard") and called with this word one of the species of monkeys. Thus began the baboons.

Zoo and Safari in Tel Aviv. Dec 30, 2019
The safari and zoo in Ramat Gan near Tel Aviv is the largest zoological center in the Middle East. Scientific research is carried out at the zoo, and there is a veterinary clinic. The territory of the zoo is beautifully designed and conveniently equipped. My biggest tip before visiting the zoo: Don't be lazy to walk.
