The chapel of Agios Minas, dating back to the 16th century, according to research from the Department of Antiquities, is a small, simple place of worship situated three kilometres west of the Neo Chorio village amidst wild vegetation. The structure, a one-room vaulted church built of stone, accommodates up to thirty believers. Its bell tower, albeit rough, plays a crucial role in calling the faithful to prayer. Inside, the chapel reveals a simple iconostasis of wood, adorned with a few holy icons and time-worn hagiographies that hint at a past rich in devotional art.

The chapel, though it lies somewhat outside the village, sees regular activity throughout the year. Many choose it for the sacraments, primarily baptisms.

The old iconostasis within the chapel, dating back to 1800, features intricate wood carvings and is adorned with four icons from 1885. Above it, a narrower section showcases six smaller images of saints, contributing to the holy atmosphere of the chapel. Its walls are adorned with religious imagery, with a prominent Byzantine-style depiction of Saint Minas on horseback to the right of the iconostasis. Despite its size and simplicity, the chapel welcomes up to 30 worshippers.

The churchyard hosts a monument in memory of the three members of the Neo Chorio community who fell during the 1955-59 revolution against the English. Every year, on the 11th of November, the community gathers here in large numbers to celebrate Saint Minas and offer their prayers.
