Памятник Янушу Корчаку. Наверно все знают имя этого человека и его дела. Но мало кто знает, что его настоящая фамилия Гольдшмит и он самый настоящий еврей. Ему даже предлагали возглавить в 30-е годы, во время его визита в Палестину, отдел еврейского образования и воспитания. Но он отказался, ибо его ждали, как он сам сказал: «Мои сироты». Януш Корчак погиб вместе со детьми из его детского дома в Треблинке в 1943 году.
